The Manifesto is written by Brian Venges back in 2011. Since then it has become a wide-spread resource for the community. Become a member (free!) and get it e-mailed to you.
It is what it is
In Japanese, "kaizen" means "change for better". It refers to any improvement - one-time or continuous, large or small - in the same sense as the English word "improvement". Come on in - lets get Kaizen:ed together.
Kai and Zen = harmony
To some the word "kai" means "meeting". For others it means
"the earth". For us, we think of it as a meeting with your own inner core, our "inner earth" - grounding before take off. Together with the focus in zen to observer your inner self we get the perfect combination for a method to guide ourself (and our business) further and higher.
Two storytellers in this story
Our philosophy is bi-folded. We embrace the organisational, business world Kaizen ("5s", "continous improvement", "business kaizen" and so on)
which is taken care of by Brian. And we also care much for personality growth, which is catered by Fredrik.
